Happy Halloween!

This Halloween Kenzie was now a little older and we were hoping she’d have fun going door to door to get some sweets.  We normally just pass out candy and our neighborhood is usually pretty quiet so we headed down to our friends’ house to join in their trick or treating.

Can you tell who Kenz is?  Doc McStuffins!  One of her favorite cartoon characters.

We hit up maybe 4-5 houses and then decided to head back a little earlier than the group.  Kenz didn’t really get the whole concept and kept trying to go into the homes when the residents opened their doors.

I think next year we may go to a church harvest festival so she can play games and get candy too!  Especially since we’ll have a another little munchkin with us.

Amy’s Farm Pumpkin Patch

This year I really wanted to go to a big pumpkin patch so Kenzie could run around and have fun.  But before we could head out to the pumpkin patch, we had a birthday to attend!

My friend’s daughter was turning six and it was a costume party.  Kenzie wore a hand-me-down Snow White dress that was worn by 3 of my 4 nieces.  Loved that it got so much use!

After the party, Crystal called and mentioned Amy’s Farm had free pumpkins for the first 50 people.  We decided to head over there to see if we were lucky.  Unfortunately all the free pumpkins were gone but they were so much more cheaper, we decided to stay and buy our pumpkins here.

Kenzie really enjoyed picking up the pumpkins and then THROWING them!  Kid.

I made Jeff promise that we could go to the big pumpkin patch next year!  We’ll see if we make it there with 2 kiddos in tow!

One more Solano

About a month after we got our passes, we finally convinced Shannon to get one too!  We knew she couldn’t resist missing out on special moments with her nieces.  These are from a couple of visits in October.

When my phone uploads pictures to Google Plus, it sometimes adds effects to them.  I like it!

One of the benefits of going so early in the morning is that we made the cut off to get fast passes to me Anna and Elsa from Frozen.  The literally run out of passes like 30 mins after the park opens and that’s all the pass out for the entire day.

our little Angel {fan}

One of Jeff’s friends had some extra Angel playoff tickets so we took Kenzie to her first baseball game!  It was on a Friday and we knew that we weren’t going to make it the whole game so we got early to catch what we could.

Because it was a playoff game, they had skydivers at the beginning.  It was pretty cool to watch and entertained Kenzie.

We stayed to about the 5th inning before we headed to the store for some souvenirs and then home.  She did okay – it was tough for her to be cooped up in a little area but once she was able to run around she had fun!
