Fortune of Love

Jeff received the below fortune at the end of his lunch.

Guess I’ll be getting a baby after all.  Winking smile

And because the couple that runs together stays together, we busted out another 2 miles.

This is our last two miles this week.  Our next run increases by half a mile.  Right before the run Jeff said we don’t have to PR but let’s run it like we want to

Another 12 min/mile pace with 6 seconds shaved off the overall time.  Holla!

The Black Cherry On Top

This morning I arrived at work and almost immediately I wanted to do this.

Hailey1

Find me a media center, STAT!

Don’t worry, I got through my day without having to crawl underneath my desk.

Because…I knew this was waiting for me at home.  A new Chobani flavor.  Black Cherry, oh how good you are.  Come on, you know you want to try this delicious Greek goodness.

Sorry Football, I won the war!

I am not a football fan.

Nothing about the sport appeals to me.  During football season, I actually become a sports widow.  I lose my husband to our downstairs couch and TV.  There is nothing I can do.

No really, NOTHING.

Enter, Superbowl Sunday.  The biggest day of football and my happiest.  The sport is wrapping up and all I have to do is get through 4 hours.

Hahaha football, you may have won the prior battles, but I have won the WAR!  You will be gone for all of summer and I don’t need to see you again until the fall.

While the hubs, his bros, his mom and Danny watched TV downstairs, Kalea and Brooky kept me company upstairs.

Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride

Shannon strikes again!

While we were driving in Danny’s car, the girls insisted they listen to their new CD made special for them by Aunty Shannon.

The whole 45 minute ride down there, we listed to 101 Dalmatians, Tangled, Princess and the Frog and of course Lilo and Stitch.

It was when Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride came on though, that Kalea began to dance.

Appropriately, the hula.

She continued her dance the entire length of the song and smiled when it was over.  So cute!

Flashback

Jeff and I woke up early this morning to fit in a 2 mile run.  We headed out and almost immediately I felt off.  I was trying to figure out what it was when it hit me, I was having trouble breathing!

In the middle of the night I woke up wheezing.  But I was too tired to get up and search for my inhaler.  So, my asthma attack went untreated.  (Who knows why I had an attack while I was doing nothing but sleeping.)

When I woke up, I wasn’t wheezing anymore and assumed my lungs were okay.  Oops, guess not.

It’s actually pretty scary that I used to run feeling that way.  Two weeks of breathing easy has me spoiled.  I’m not sure I EVER want to run feeling that way again.

We cut our run short and ended up doing 1.67 miles.  Not too bad after all.

Now I’m going to shower and curl up with my book while the husband tackles a ride on his mountain bike.  Yep, Jeff was kind enough to run with me knowing he’s going riding this morning.  Love him!
