Danny and the girls brought back adorable Hawaiian dresses for Kenz and Bean. They look so cute in them! Can’t wait until we have a reason to wear them!

Avery 4 Months
Oh my sweet Bean, what a difference 1 month makes. I was looking at your 3 month recap and you have changed & grown so much!
Probably the best change, you are sleeping through the night! In your crib!! This is something big sister has YET to do…
But let’s back up a bit. This month you started eating more! You moved up to 4.5oz bottles during the day and a 4oz bottle at night. Mommy’s supply is starting to fluctuate but you do well on formula so I’m trying not to worry too much.
A cute thing you are starting to learn, thumb sucking. I know this will be hard to break but you look so cute doing it and it helps you so much at night.
You started needing me less and less during the night and slept so well in your bassinet. I felt it was time for you to make the move and you did great! You started sleeping through the night more and more often. Naps are a different story. They are all over the place and only 20-40 minutes at a time. I think because of this, you have an 8pm bedtime.
I keep warning myself that things may change when you learn to sit up, but for now, I’m so thankful!!
I love you Bean!!

A Weekend at the Beach
Vacations with little ones are HARD! You have to think of length to get somewhere, all the stuff you have to pack, sleeping arrangements, etc. So when your aunt and uncle are generous enough to open up their beach condo to you for the weekend, you say YES THANK YOU!
The Friday before Father’s Day we headed down to Oceanside for the weekend. My aunt and uncle were down there already so we had some company to look forward to. When we got there, we were greeted with champagne! Kenzie was very interested in smelling it.
One of the best things about staying somewhere relatively close to home is we can drive and take all our necessary baby stuff. And the benefit about staying in a condo, Bean can stick to her bed time schedule!
On Saturday we got up pretty early and let Jeff open up one of his Father’s Day gifts. The girls made him the cutest t-shirt. (Apparently it’s a pretty common dad day gift…we saw another dad on the pier wearing the same thing!)
After naptimes, we headed down to the beach to relax.
Kenzie, like last time, enjoyed playing in the water and sand. She made poor Aunty Shannon go back and forth with her to fill up her sand toys.
Bean and I hung out under the beach canopy.
We caught a nice sunset that night and then head home pretty early the next day.
A great weekend!

Aunty Shannon’s DisneyDay
Since it was Aunty Shannon’s birthday weekend, we headed to Disneyland to celebrate. Avery looked especially cute decked out in her Minnie ears.
The park had some new decorations to celebrate Disneyland’s 60th birthday. Fun fact: My mom and dad are the same age as Disneyland!
Since we had so many adults, I was able to say back while Jeff, Shannon and Chad all road Space Mountain. Jeff’s face-lol!

Happy Birthday Aunty!
Every year Shannon wants to go to Joe’s for her birthday. Since we had drama the last time we went (for my birthday), we decided it was time for a do over.
This time we made sure to order PLAIN corn for Kenzie. After dinner we came home and hung out for a bit before bedtime.
Aunty was being silly and put Bean in Kenzie’s doll stroller. She looks so cute!!
It was such a fun night that when it was time for bedtime, Kenzie fell asleep drinking her bottle.
Happy birthday Aunty Shannon! Kenzie’s ready for her next sleepover!

Big Baby Burrito
Every now and then Kenzie loves to play the “baby”. A few weekends ago, she wanted to be tucked in on the couch.
And then there are times where she loves being the big sister and posing with Avery.
Love my little girls!
