Yesterday all of us (minus Jeff & Kenz) went to the movies to see Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2. Hailey & Noelle were the first to arrive so they posed next to the display of the next Disney movie, Frozen.
The movie was okay, a little weird but the girls seemed to enjoy it. Kenzie was at home doing this…
She is really loving her Bumbo seat. She took it to Sarah’s today and I got the below picture. She looks adorable!!
It’s been one year since Brooky ran her first kid’s race.
Brooky had so much fun this first race that she decided to run it again! We left the house a bit late this time, 6:52am, but still made it to the park in plenty of time to find good parking and walk around a bit.
The girls did their thumbprint butterflies.
Danny and Brooky made their way over to the start line a bit early, which worked out perfectly since the race started 5 minutes early!
Shannon, Kalea and I stood by the finish line to capture Brooky as she ran by. Jeff was just past the finish line and caught her getting her medal.
She finished 18th kid!
After the race we headed over to Molly’s Souper for breakfast.
The last time Jeff and I went was the Sunday before Kenzie was born.

And last Tuesday, guess who turned 11 weeks?
Two weeks ago Mackenzie had her 1st day of daycare! Crystal’s sister Sarah will be watching Mackenzie while Jeff and I are at work. She went part time her first week to get used to being in a different environment.
From the looks of things, she appears to be just fine. 
Every year we go to the LA County Fair. This year the only difference was we had a 2 month old baby. To test how she would do before we go with a big group, Jeff, Shannon, Mom and myself took Kenz to her first Fair.
Kenzie did really well! It was hot so we spent most of our time in the Expos. Although we did take a detour to test how her car seat looks in the new Tundras.
We found a couple of must stops for when we go back with B & K. Hopefully she does well then too!
Nobody loves a sleeping baby more than me. 
Or a baby with a mustache. Now she looks part Mexican. 
With all the family fun going on (vacations and Kenzie being born) we were a little late in celebrating B & K’s bdays. Earlier this month we got together and had some cake to celebrate the girls turning 8 & 6.
Daniel made the cakes. Monster High for Brooklyn (there was supposed to be a doll in the middle of the “grave” but Brooky freaked out) and Lalaloopsy for Kalea.
The girls loved their cake. Especially since Brooky’s turned your teeth green/black.

Dear Mackenzie,
Monday you turned two months old!! I’m sure I’ll be saying this for the rest of your life but I can’t believe how time has flown by!
My little girl isn’t so little anymore. This month you grew out of your newborn clothes and moved up a size in diapers. My little girl is no longer a newborn. *sniff*
You had your first round of vaccines where Mommy and Daddy took it harder than you.
We figured out part of your tummy issues was due to Mommy’s oversupply of milk (sorry!) and worked on fixing that, changed your bottles and started giving you probiotics. Because of that you are a much less “grunty” baby! You actually have mini conversations and have started to offer up some adorable smiles!
You went to 3 major outings this last month! Brea Fest, Downtown Disney and the LA County Fair. All 3 you did surprisingly well and only cried when you were hungry.
You start daycare in a couple of days and Mommy is already feeling sad about going back to work and not getting to hang out with you all day. You also have your first overnight trip coming up – we’re crossing our fingers that everything goes well.

Last year Run Disney announced they were adding a new race distance to their Disneyland Half Marathon weekend. That new distance was the 10k. Fast forward to January of this year, I had a small window of time and ended up registering Jeff for the inaugural 10k.
Since the race started so early and Kenzie needs her beauty sleep, Jeff headed to Disneyland by himself.
Jeff knew how much I wanted to run so he took lots of pictures.
The race started in the streets and then to California Adventure before crossing into Disneyland and finishing in Downtown Disney. I heard this course was great since a majority of it was on Disney property.
There were a ton of people dressed up, Jeff said more than the 5k’s.

Jeff finished in just over 1:07, pretty good for practically zero runs leading up to the race! #newbabyathome
