Last Saturday I convinced everyone to make the drive to Irvine Park to visit their Pumpkin Patch. Kenzie was ready with a perfectly themed outfit.
We left the house around 11:30am and got there around noon. The parking line was out of the park, but we lucked out and got 2 spots close to the pumpkin patch! Our first goal…ride the train. We went straight for the line and waited about 20-30 minutes.
The girls had some entertainment when we made it to the front of the line. The conductor knew how to juggle and was showing off with some baby pumpkins.
Once it was our turn, we loaded up the first car of the train.
Noelle didn’t want her picture taken.
My co-riders. <3
After the train ride, the girls each had a coupon to spend. We walked around to see what was worth using it on.
We decided to do the (free) hay maze. Danny and I let Kalea be our guide.
The girls finally decided to use their coupons on the cookie decorating booth. It was a good idea, until we saw a little girl sneeze and then touch the communal frosting with her wet hand. Needless to say, none of the nieces at their cookies.
Once they were done, we piled in the car and headed home. The one thing we didn’t do…buy pumpkins! Jeff mentioned Amy’s Farms has them so we plan on heading there during the week.
