A couple of weekends ago, we headed to Barnes & Noble with the big nieces to listen to a Halloween reading. We arrived just as they were getting started and it was empty enough for the girls to get prime seating and cookies & juice.
The B & N employee read Go Away, Big Green Monster and Nightmare Before Christmas. When he was done with the first reading, approximately 15 kids showed up for the second one. Apparently they were in the wrong area of the store the entire time.
After storytime, the girls made a spider craft. It was a little hectic but lots of supplies for everyone.
After that the girls were able to snag another cookie and a free pumpkin tote before we headed out. It was a cute, fun and FREE way to spend some time out of the house!
