I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas! We celebrated early in the morning and then did our traditional Christmas dinner celebration in the afternoon.
There were so many pictures so I’ve decided to split the posts into 2 different ones. Here is Christmas morning with Danny and the girls.
Jeff and I got up early to make breakfast and spend some time with the girls before they went down to their grandmas. Danny, my dad and the girls came over around 10am and we all enjoyed Jeff’s yummy breakfast of chorizo, eggs, tortilla and bacon while Christmas Story replayed in the background.
We then allowed the girls to open up their big gift from their ‘dadda’.
As soon as the wrapping that was on top was removed, Kalea exclaimed, “Oh my gosh, thank you!” and put her arms across her chest for emphasis. She was so sincere it was so cute.
They dragged it out of the bag, a big deal for 2 little girls, and then inspected their new kitchen. I know they will love playing with it!
Once they were done enjoying the box, they moved on to a small gift from Santa. What could it be?
Rapunzel chapstick!
It’s funny how long one gift can entertain the girls. Each enjoyed opening and smelling the different scents and then applying them. Kalea especially enjoyed applying the 4 different chapsticks continuously on her lips over and over and over again. She had a good layer of wax on her lips by the time we decided to take it away.
We then let them open one more gift, this time from Jeff and I.
The girls got a princess jewelry bag and opened it up immediately to try everything on.
They played for a bit longer and then went to their grandma’s.
Next up…Christmas dinner and even more fun!
