After our walk this morning, Jeff and I got into the car and drove down to the Ferry Farmer’s Market. It was sort of a let down. We had been hearing how good it was this whole time but going on a Tuesday when it’s less vendors = blah. Maybe we’ll go again on a Saturday during our next trip.
After the Farmer’s market, we drove around SF to catch more sights. We started with the Lombard Street. We started at the top if the most crooked street and drove down.
Jeff had heard of a spot called Chile Pies that made apple pies with chili in them. He grabbed one for us to split. It was pretty good. The apples were sweet and crisp with just the hint of spice in each bite. I think this might be a new place to hit every time we visit.
Our next stop was Golden Gate Park. We had originally planned on running it but when we found out it was 5 miles long, we decided to drive through it. :) There are a lot of places inside the park to see. We have a list for the next time we visit.
Conservatory of Flowers
The park even houses bison…
and windmills!
Tonight is our last night and all I want to do is stay in. It’s been fun but tiring! Even now, Chloe is crashed out on Jeff’s lap.
