Flooded

For the last few days it has been raining pretty steadily.  So much so that this morning all 4 roads leading out of our community were closed due to flooding!

Below is one of those roads.  Of course, the second the sun comes out my husband gets on his bike and rides down to see one of the of closed roads. 

It’s crazy!  You can’t see it in the picture above but the small road sign that says “no stopping at any time” is almost completely under water!

Thankfully the rain has tapered and one of the four roads has now re-opened. 

Only 3 more days until Christmas!  And I still have some shopping to do.
