For her 73rd birthday, Nana wanted to celebrate with the whole family.
We met at Steak and Stein for a yummy dinner and then went to her house to have cake.
The nieces dressed up and wore tights for the first time in awhile. Brooklyn was confused at first, thinking they were pants and kept lifting her dress to pull them up. Finally I explained to her the difference between tights and leggings and she caught on quickly.
I hadn’t been to SS in a long time and forgot how big their portions were. I took a picture of the humongous baked potato. You may not be able to really see how big it was in the picture below, but look how much of my plate it covers.

After dinner, we went back to Nana’s and Tata’s to continue celebrating.
When it was time to open her presents, Nana started with the cards first. The very first card she opened up was a ‘serious’ card that immediately made her cry. I encouraged her to open ours next since it was a ‘funny’ one. It turned off the water works for a second but the next card started her crying again.
Happy Birthday Nana! We love you!
