Last night Jeff and I went to a local park to watch some early 4th of July fireworks.
We got there right as the sun was setting and had to park at the farthest lot. It worked out pretty good though since we realized we could just hang out by the cars and still see the fireworks. James & Rebecca and the boys joined us for the night.
We ate some dinner and hung out for about a half an hour before the show started.
The fireworks were pretty good for being a local show. It paid off parking so far out since we got out pretty quickly. I think this is a definite repeat for next year.
From the park we drove over to Danny’s and spent some time around his homemade bonfire.
He and the girls were “camping” in the backyard and had a nice little set up complete with smores.
