Our eldest niece turns 6 today! She is getting so big, I can’t believe she is going to be starting first grade in the fall.
Last year we celebrated at Disneyland. This year we have a different type of celebration in mind so kept her actual birthday low key.
The cousins came over to celebrate and we jumped into the pool while we waited for the birthday girl to arrive. Once Brooky got there, we played in the house until dinner was ready.
Jeff made everyone hamburgers and hot dogs. However, Brooklyn had a special request, spaghetti. Danny bought her some spaghetti and the rest of us enjoyed Jeff’s yummy barbeque.
Unfortunately not all of us were fans of the burgers. Hailey pretended she was asleep at the table to try to get out of eating dinner.
However for some of the nieces, one of them was actually falling asleep at the table.
After dinner, Brooklyn was ready for her birthday cupcakes.
Happy birthday dear Brooklyn….
The girls hung around for a bit longer and Noelle entertained us on the stairs.
