Driving Around SF

We finally got to explore San Francisco!  Our morning started slow.  My mom got up early and started backing for her work gifts.  She had a plate of rejects that she put on the side table.  Chloe and her keen sense of smell were fast to sniff it out.  She spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure out how to get to the cookies.

Once Jeff and I hit the road our first stop was Ghirardelli Square.  We had a sample of chocolate and walked around at the different stores.  They had their annual Christmas tree up and it looked very festive.

Next we went to Pier 39.  They also have their tree up (it was much better than Ghirardelli’s.)

We had a small lunch at Pier 39 Marketplace and enjoyed a plate full of garlic fries.  Two garlic breaths cancel each other out right?

After a short rest at home, we packaged Chloe up and went off to Alamo Square.  Of all the times we’ve been to San Francisco, we never made it to the Painted Ladies.  We made the quick drive there and snapped a picture in front of the houses.

Look familiar?  They should, they were the homes featured in the opening of Full House.  In fact, as we were parking, two tour buses drove by the homes.

Tomorrow we have another run and then we are going to the Ferry Farmer’s Market.  It’s our first time going to the Farmer’s Market and we cannot wait.  We heard it’s a good one.
