Halloween Cupcakes

Since we missed out on the Cal Poly Pumpkin Fair, Jeff and I went to our local “pumpkin patch” to buy our pumpkins – Home Depot.

We grabbed 3 small pumpkins and then ventured inside.  Sorry Halloween, but I got more excited when I saw the Christmas decorations.  I <3 Christmas.

Jeff and I grabbed some decorations but you won’t get to see those until November…we are still going back and forth on when we should start decorating for Christmas.  I want to decorate Nov 1st, he says day after Thanksgiving. 

Shannon had bought some cupcake mix to make with the nieces yesterday.  Since yesterday they ditched us to hang with their dad (rude) we made them today. 

 

While they baked, Brooklyn showed off her 1st grade skills and read to Shannon and I.

After the cupcakes were cooled, it was time to frost!

 

The girls each had one and then we drove to C & C and shared some with them.  Hailey especially enjoyed her sprinkles. 

She also showed off her 1st carved pumpkin…so cute!!
