Sunday afternoon, the big nieces came over so Brooklyn could get her promised popsicle. Since the girls won’t be around on Halloween, I convinced everyone to go for a ride to look at the decorations throughout the neighborhood. Our community does a pretty good job of decorating for Halloween, almost better than Christmas!
During one of our runs, this one house decorated the empty lot next to them by growing a HUGE pumpkin patch. Unfortunately by the time we made our way over there, 3 weeks later, there were no more pumpkins but the grave markers were still up.
Just imagine it with overgrown pumpkins, way more impressive. This was the house across the street.
After our drive through the neighborhood, we stopped at Chad’s but the baby nieces were napping. Jeff randomly caught some bug and showed it off to the girls.
For dinner Jeff decided to make spaghetti and meatballs. He hasn’t made meatballs in a long time and they were so good!
It was a fun laid back Sunday.
