Today is Jeff’s youngest brother’s 18th birthday!
Doesn’t he look happy? At least his girlfriend smiled!
How does an 18 year old celebrate his 1st day of adulthood? With a family party of course! Jeff’s mom came over bright and early to start decorating our pool area. She had balloons, festive tablecloths and a sign in Hershey Kiss.
Libby planned ahead and also brought a brag book that had some elementary school gems memories. My favorite was school project where Andrew had to write about an embarrassing moment.
Once everyone arrived, Libby started the games. She had two poster boards hanging. One had a bunch of nicknames. It was the party goers job to pick the top 7 most common nicknames for Andrew. The winners included, Sweet Baboo, Candyman, Big A, and Drewman.
The second game, which I have to say was my favorite, had a bunch of pictures from when Andrew was younger. The goal was to put the pictures in chronological order. This one, I especially loved.
OMG, so cute! This might qualify for another “embarrassing moment”.
After games we dug into the food. Libby had ordered Subway sandwiches and Pizza Hut pizza. Andrew had his own personal pan pizza specially made without sauce, per his request.
The cake was also a special request (man he was lucky!) and had strawberry filling.
We sang to the birthday boy and then served him his cake.
I hope you enjoyed your big day! Happy birthday Andrew!
