Jeff and I had decided that since our actual anniversary did not land on the weekend, we would take the day off to enjoy each other’s company.
We decided on Disneyland and then Snail’s Pace for some new running shoes for Jeff (Jeff’s current shoes are almost 4 years old!).
We parked in our favorite lot and had planned out a ride plan for when we got into the park. As we were walking in, we saw the below picture.
This is one sign of a good parent. You can literally see the kid’s feet prints amidst the sunscreen overspray.
The same family apparently also love Jesus.
Once we made it in the park, we realized it was pretty empty! I guess all the spring breaks are over and the crowds had died down. The staff was guiding traffic in Adventureland and New Orleans Square and the walkways were partially closed off. The park was setting up for the new Pirates premiere this upcoming weekend.
We ended up going on 4 rides in the span of 1 1/2 hours and then sat down for some lunch at Pizza Port. Now I’m trying to convince Jeff to go with me for some frozen yogurt. Wish me luck!
