Every year, Jeff’s family picks a weekend in December to make Christmas cookies. They take turns hosting and this year it was at Jeff’s Aunt Holly’s.
We got there and Railynn was just finishing up cutting out the sugar cookies. They had made over 100 sugar cookies, which meant we needed to start decorating.
They laid out all the tubs of frosting-they make their frosting homemade-and put out all the sprinkles to use.
There were so many cookies that needed decorating, Jeff and I barely put a dent in the pile.
We headed home and got in a run (more on that later) and now, after a late nap and early dinner, I’m sneezing and feeling run down. I’m HOPING it’s allergies and the run and not the other possibility (getting sick). Maybe a 9 pm bedtime is in my future.
Only 5 more days of work before vacation!!
