Awhile ago my Garmin stopped taking a charge and Jeff mailed it off for a replacement. Since then, we’ve run 3 races – each PR beating the last one. We’ve increased our distance from 3.5 miles, to 4 miles to 4.5 miles, all while maintaining a good pace. We’ve basically have been running by how we feel and have been doing really good.
Enter in the Garmin. I love running with my Garmin but it does put a lot of pressure on you. You feel obligated to run always at a certain pace and if I look down and notice I’m running slower than last weeks run, I instantly take it out on myself mentally.
We’ll see how it goes…
