It’s finally working! I have internet access!! Now…time for catch up.

Jeff and I got up bright and early Friday morning to make the drive North. After a very fun holiday party the night before, poor Jeff was not liking the 5:00 am wake up call.
We got in the car and hit the road around 6:30 am. The drive up North was uneventful for the first half. After a couple of hours into the trip Jeff insisted he saw snow. Take a look at the picture below and decide for yourself. I said it was just rocks.
Soon after we hit some major fog. It was a bit unnerving to drive through, but the husband did a good job going nice and slow. SIDENOTE: the CHP were out in force. We saw maybe 7 different people pulled over, and even recognized 1 officer who pulled over two different people.
We decided to grab some steaks from Harris Ranch for dinner. When we arrived, they were smoking 5 briskets. Jeff made sure I snapped a picture so he could show his bbq buddies, Nate and James at home.
The inside was decorated so cute for Christmas.
When we got back in the car, we drove by all the cattle for the different ranches. Cows as far as the eye can see.
After about 7 hours, we finally made into the city.
We were pretty tired so just hung out at my mom’s house for the day and then enjoyed our Harris Ranch steaks for dinner. It was so good.
