Oh my goodness, we’ve been up since 4 am. The alarm went off and admittedly, as excited as we were, we snoozed it and rolled out of bed 9 minutes later.
We had packed everything up the night before and loaded up the truck to make for an easy departure. The girls were loaded up in their pj’s and we were pulling out of the garage 10 minutes early!
Thankfully we were early because our alarm fritzed and Jeff and to run in to turn it off and reset it. Ugh, darn alarm – we’ve had more cop visits than Lindsey Lohan.
The drive was actually pretty tame as the girls slept most of the way. Around 8 am we stopped for breakfast and then about 45 minutes later at Harris Ranch.
Harris Ranch is known for their beef and had some cooking out on the grill to entice customers to come in.
Danny and Jeff went inside and took pics of the place.
While Brooky, Kalea and I explored the the outside.
We made good time and in almost exactly 7 hours…we crossed the bay bridge into San Francisco!! (Thank you Shannon for house sitting & fur daughter sitting!!)
We decided to drive along the Embarcadero to take in the scenic route.
(Wondering what that fuzzy line is across the above picture? Yeah, the crack in the windshield.)
We just finished lunch and are planning what to do next? Ghirardelli Square for chocolate or Fisherman’s Wharf to see the sea lions? Hmm…
